Formation of a Schedule of Repairs of Equipment of Microsystems Based on the Algorithm of Markov Chain Monte Carlo table of contents
Krupenev D.S., Boyarkin D.A. (MESI SB RAS, Irkutsk)
Abstract. The article considers the issues of ensuring a high level of reliability of power supply when planning the operation of distribution networks and microsystems formed on their basis. In particular, the statement and algorithm for solving the problem of forming optimal schedules of repairs of power equipment are presented. To solve the problem, a description of the adapted algorithm of Markov chain Monte Carlo is presented. The testing of the proposed algorithm was carried out on a test circuit of a microsystem with different initial data in terms of load schedules. The results of applying the algorithm showed the adequacy of the solution to the problem.
Keywords: repairs of power equipment, planned reliability, microsystems, algorithm of Markov chain Monte Carlo.

Study of the Impact of Solar Power Plants on Primary Frequency Control in the Power System of Vietnam
Kuznetsov O.N., Fam Kh.N. (NRU MPEI, Moscow)
Abstract. The number of solar photoelectric power plants (SPhPP) within the structure of generating facilities of power systems has increased dramatically leading to deterioration of frequency control conditions of the electric current dependent on SPhPP power output by means of inverters that provide the maximum power of a photoelectric converter. The study of primary frequency control conditions in the power system of Vietnam that includes a big number of SPhPPs in conditions of power balance disruption is provided in this article. The results of this study show that the bigger number of SPhPPs leads to a more significant deviation of frequency in the power system in conditions of power imbalance. When the number of SPhPPs is 40%, the conditions for automatic frequency load shedding operation might be expected. The big number of SPhPPs also leads to the necessity of increased power reserve to provide primary frequency control. An approach to frequency control in the power system with the use of active power reserve distributed in SPhPP is also proposed in this article.
Keywords: solar power plants, primary frequency control, active power reserve.

Abstract. This article is a continuation of the earlier published article “Relevance of application and the design of high-temperature wires”. In this part the specific aspects of operation and mechanical calculation of high-temperature wires are considered, which are based on experimentally taken stress-strain curves. Initial data for the mechanical calculation of high-temperature wires is provided. The need to improve the available regulatory documents is revealed.

Mechanical Calculation of the Wire
Mishchenko V.V. (JSC “Lengidroproekt”)
Abstract. To date, the only domestic “legitimate” method for the mechanical calculation of wires and cables is the “Guide lines for the calculation of wires and cables of overhead power lines”, approved on August 11, 1964, which state that “these Guidelines are based on the assumption that wires and cables are suspended at the same altitude, and do not apply to special cases of calculation of wires and cables (open switchgears, large crossings, sections of overhead line with a strongly crossed profile, etc.)”. According to the author, the method proposed in the article can become the basis of a universal “accurate” method for the mechanical calculation of wires, cables, and WOK of all types for any conditions.
Keywords: overhead power transmission lines, mechanical calculation of the wire, calculation scheme, flexible thread.
Forecast of the Diameter and Behavior of Glaze-Ice and Rime Deposition on Wires and the Preventive Maintenance
Startsev A.P. (OOO EIL)
Abstract. The article describes the present-day level of ob servations, hazard evaluation, forecast, glaze-ice-melting. It provides the basic framework of the methodology of glaze-ice and rime deposition diameter and behavior forecast. When using the data acquired from meteorological stations, feasibility of forecasting the starting point and the duration of glaze-ice and rime deposition on wires is above 70-80%. The article shows an example of the map composed by cal culated maximum ice wall thickness values. An example of using the forecast of glaze-ice and rime deposition diameter for its melting by means of load redistribution is provided. Main factors of the economic benefit from introducing the methodology glaze-ice and rime deposition diameter and behavior forecast for overhead transmission line wires are revealed.
Keywords: icing, calculation, forecast, glaze ice and rime deposition diameter, ice wall thickness, ice melting, icing preventive maintenance.

Selection of Mutual Arrangement of 6-35 kV Cables
Dmitriev M.V. (PEIPK, Saint-Petersburg)
Abstract. The present and the future of country’s power industry is out of question without the wide use of 6-35 kV power cables. Unfortunately, despite the high quality of manufactured cables, the grid companies and the owners of electric networks often suffer from severe economic losses due to wrong selection of 6-35 kV cable type and section size and irrelevant mutual arrangement of adjacent phases. Let’s consider some of these issues.
Keywords: single-phase cable, XLPE, shield grounding, closed triangle, induced current, power losses, cable temperature.

Assessment of Compatibility of Transformer Oils When Mixing
Lyutikova M.N., Korobeynikov S.M. (Novosibirsk State Technical University NSTU), Utepov A.Ye., Gadal’shina A.I. (OOO Engineering-Technical Center UralEnergoEngineering)
Abstract. This article provides the results of study of the impact of paraffin-type transformer oil Gazpromneft GK brand 2 properties on the oils of different brands and different oxidation stability category when mixing (high — GK, LUKOIL VG, Nytro 10Х, Nytro 10ХN, Nytro 11GX, Nytro 4000X, TANECO GK; middle — Т-1500 and low — TKp). The listed oils and their mixtures with Gazpromneft GK brand 2 oil were tested for oxidation stability. After enhanced oxidation the acid number and the content of sediments and fugitive low-molecular acids were determined in all samples. Immediately after mixing the transformer oils were tested with regard to tangent of dielectric loss angle at 90°С and interfacial tension. By the results obtained, the authors make the conclusion about possible mixing of Gazpromneft GK brand 2 oil with other oil brands (GK, LUKOIL VG, Nytro 10Х, Nytro 10ХN, Nytro 11GX, Nytro 4000X, TANECO ГК, Т-1500, TKp) without degradation of properties in the proportions under consideration (1:9, 2:8, 3:7, 4:6). Besides the compulsory figures, the optical opacity and the oxidation index were measured before and after long-term aging of samples. By assessing the data acquired we may notice the coherence of results of optional testing with those of standard ones.
Keywords: transformer oil, service oil mixing, antioxidation stability, tangent of dielectric loss angle, interfacial tension, optical opacity, IR-spectroscopy, oxidation index.

Analysis of the State and Prospects for the Development of Emergency Automation of the Unified Energy System of Russia
Senyuk M.D., Pazderin A.V., Klassen V.V. (Ural Federal University n.a. the First President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin, Ekaterinburg), Pazderin A.A. (Rosseti Urals Region)
Abstract. The modern structure of emergency control of the Unified Energy System of Russia is a multi-level echeloned complex of control and protection tools against the occurrence and development of an emergency process. The multi-level hierarchy of this structure consists of high speed adaptive centralized emergency control systems with a coordinating system that exchanges information between centralized complexes. Local emergency automation systems usually provide redundant control actions that are not optimal. The complexity of this structure is dictated by the large size of the backbone networks and their large circuit-mode diversity. This article provides an overview of the emergency control system of the Unified Energy System of Russia. The features of the implementation of centralized and local emergency automation complexes are considered, directions for their development are identified taking into account the features of modern trends in the development of the electric power industry. The conclusions indicate the main results of the study and directions for future work.
Keywords: power system, emergency control, transient stability, small signal stability, synchronized phasor measurements, machine learning, meta-analysis.
