Application of power cost distribution model for estimating the efficiency of power transmission to various nodes of electrical network
Abstract.
The paper presents power cost distribution model, connecting power flows throughout electrical network with transmission cost. The model allows to distribute the full cost of transmission services between the nodes of electric power supply taking into account power losses and utilization factor of electrical network equipment. It gives a possibility to assess nodal transmission tariffs which are proportional to the costs covered by utilities. The presented model makes it possible to determine nodal factors of relative profitability characterizing the economic efficiency of power transmission for various nodes of electrical network.

Calculation of overhead transmission line supports and segments
Abstract.
Power transmission is carried out mainly through overhead transmission lines. According to operational practices, there are not only cases of conductors destruction, but also situations when transmission line supports are damaged. The paper provides a brief literature review related to design and calculation of overhead power lines, conductors and separate power line segments.

Induced voltage on 500 kV cable lines
Abstract
. Personal safety while working on discharged overhead lines under induced voltage is studied pretty well. However, it is impossible to say the same about 6-500 kV cable lines, where induced voltage is a total surprise very often. The paper presents a number of examples demonstrated the process of induced voltage occurrence on discharged cable line caused by closely-spaced energized cable or overhead lines.

Line insulation diagnostics
Abstract.
The paper presents the results of studies for determining the impact of dew, fog, rain, pollution and insulators lifetime on discharge voltage, ohmic resistance, amplitude of the leakage current sinusoidal component, partial and corona discharges pulses, mechanical strength and voltage distribution over string of insulators. Obtained results can be used in the development of risk-oriented control technologies for line insulation.
