Special issue of the journal “ELECTRIC POWER. Transmission and distribution” to the 24th World Energy Congress is fully prepared and sent to the event

In two weeks 24th World Energy Congress will be opened Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of The United Arab Emirates. Event that will be going on from 9 to 12 of September in Abu Dhabi will be the greatest throughout 90 years of Congress history: it is expected that event will be visited by 15 thousand participants and guests from 150 countries around the globe, exhibition of advanced technology in energy field will be as big as 40000 м2.

As part of common theme «Energy for prosperity» congress is forming a global leader forum, that will determine strategy for later enhancement of reliability of energy systems, their innovative transformation for the good of further advancement of economics and people all around the globe.

The program of the 24th World Energy Congress is very extensive and includes more than 20 speeches and panel discussions with energy leaders, as well as about 50 parallel business sessions, during which a discussion will be held on topical issues in the development of various sectors of the world energy, climate improvement, integration and energy security.

Journal “ELECTRIC POWER. Transmission and Distribution”, being the only official information partner of the 24th World Energy Congress from the Russian Federation, will present a special English issue to the participants of the Congress and the technical exhibition, which will include reports and articles on topical issues of development and reliability of the electric grid complex of Russia.
