Yesterday, August 19, 2019, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev appointed Dmitry Frolov as the Deputy Head of the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (Rostekhnadzor). The order is published on the website of the Government. Since 2006 D.I. Frolov was on various leading posts of Rostekhnadzor, initially holding the position of head of the financial department, then from 2008 to 2009 he acted as head of the Moscow Interregional Technological Department of Technological and Environmental Supervision, then, from 2009 he worked as head of the Department of State Energy Supervision. Dmitry Ivanovich Frolov became a member of the editorial board of the journal “ELECTRIC POWER. Transmission and distribution ”March 14, 2012. Under his leadership, the publication organized a permanent heading “Industrial Injuries”, which deals with accidents at electric power facilities, as well as their causes together with analysis and recommendations to prevent such incidents.
